The Alan and Diane Page Award is a
recognition given to an individual who has made a significant impact through their involvement with Bolder Options Youth Mentoring Program. The award honors those who have gone above and beyond in their roles, whether through volunteering, fundraising, advocacy, or other forms of support. In 2024 we are honored to be awarding the Alan and Diane Page Award to Jesse Overton II.
Jesse Overton II is a remarkable individual who has made a profound impact through his involvement with Bolder Options. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Hurdles Foundation, an organization he founded to help young people overcome life's obstacles. Through his involvement with the Hurdles Foundation, Jesse has connected Bolder Options with other funders, allowing us to secure significant grants totalling over half a million dollars. Grants like these enable us to fulfill our mission.
As a personal mentor to Bolder Options' president, Darrell Thompson, Jesse has offered guidance and support on numerous occasions. He is a trusted advisor and confidant who has provided valuable insights and wisdom drawn from his own life experiences. With his warm and compassionate nature, Jesse has been a steady source of encouragement and motivation for Darrell and many others at Bolder Options. His mentorship has been instrumental in helping individuals grow and develop within the organization, making him an invaluable asset to the cause of mentoring.
Join us at the 2024 Bolder Bash where we will be honoring Jesse Overton II.
"We believe that life’s hurdles can be viewed in a different light, an optimistic light. We prefer to view these hurdles as a call to action to a competition that we know we can win."
— Jesse Overton, Founder of The Hurdles Foundation
