EMMANUEL KANNAH

Mentoring Program Coordinator

Emmanuel Kannah has a strong passion for community engagement, particularly when it comes to supporting youth. Over the years, he has gained hands-on experience in youth mentoring, program coordination, and diversity initiatives.

โ€‹

Most recently, he worked as the Youth Outreach Coordinator for the Guinean Youth Association in Minneapolis, where he planned events, built partnerships with local schools, and mentored youth on leadership and academic success. Additionally, he served as the Diversity and Equity Coordinator at North Hennepin Community College, where he led initiatives to promote inclusivity and worked closely with students to navigate social and academic challenges.

 

He is currently pursuing an Associate’s degree in Computer Science and brings with him a set of skills that includes effective communication, leadership, problem-solving, and time management. What truly excites him about this position is the opportunity to continue helping youth succeed and guiding them in the right direction. He has always found great fulfillment in mentoring and offering support to those in need and is eager to apply his experience to contribute positively to the team and the community.

 

He looks forward to working closely with the team and is excited to make a meaningful impact in this new role.
